NEW YORK, April 27, 2023 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Questex today launches a new U.S. Sibec event capitalizing on the successful one-to-one concept pioneered by Sibec and utilized by the fitness industry with great success. This event will offer a new opportunity for the fitness industry to foster business relationships between buyers and suppliers in 2023 and beyond. The event takes place October 16-18, 2023 at the Westin Galleria in Dallas, Texas.

This Sibec event will give global fitness industry suppliers unparalleled networking opportunities with leading owners, operators and decision makers from U.S. fitness facilities and clubs including high volume chain, independent and commercial clubs in a seamless, business-focused environment. Networking opportunities will include a minimum of 16 pre-scheduled, one-to-one appointments, multiple receptions, meals, workouts, education, and the Supplier Showcase, dedicated time after the appointments enabling buyers to meet with any suppliers they didn’t have an appointment with. Questex’s Spatec North America Spring Edition Brought the Spa Industry Together to Do Business with Ease, Effectiveness and Speed

Spatec North America Fall Edition Will Take Place in Florida in September, 2023

NEW YORK, April 10, 2023 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Questex’s Spatec North America Spring, the spa industry’s leading one-to-one event, brought together 38 of North America’s most prestigious owners and operators of major resort, hotel, destination, chain day spas, and design & management companies to meet with 38 key leading domestic and international suppliers, April 3-5 at the La Cantera Resort & Spa in San Antonio, Texas.

The event was a major success, delivering on its promise to connect suppliers through nearly 800 one-to-one appointments with buyers they chose to meet with in advance via pre-selection criteria. In addition, carefully crafted themed nights complete with team building competitions and karaoke gave attendees the opportunity to network with everyone in attendance regardless of whether or not they had appointments booked.

LUX* Grand Gaube Named “The Most Instagrammable Hotel in the World” for 2023 by Readers of Questex’s Luxury Travel Advisor

NEW YORK, April 10, 2023 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — LUX* Grand Gaube, located on the island of Mauritius, has been voted “The Most Instagrammable Hotel in the World” for 2023 by the readers of Questex’s Luxury Travel Advisor.

Each year, Luxury Travel Advisor hosts a bracket-style tournament in honor of the N.C.A.A.’s “March Madness” in which 64 hotels from around the world are pitted against each other to earn the title of “The Most Instagrammable Hotel in the World.” Nearly 200 hotels nominated themselves for participation, from which the editorial team at Luxury Travel Advisor then selected 64 hotels for inclusion. These were placed into four regional brackets (“Asia, Indian Ocean and South Pacific;” “Europe, Middle East and Africa;” “Latin America and Caribbean;” and “North America”) and randomly paired up against each other. Voting was then opened to Luxury Travel Advisor’s readership; the hotel with the most votes after each round moved on to face its new competition. In total, six rounds of voting were required to name the champion.

In the final round, LUX* Grand Gaube defeated Tivoli Mofarrej São Paulo Hotel in Brazil by a “score” of 32,637 to 17,159—that’s nearly two-thirds of the vote going towards the champion. Additional semifinal participants included the Thompson Central Park New York and Savoy Palace in Funchal, Portugal.
